Scala dei Turchi: come raggiungerla

La Scala dei Turchi di Realmonte in provincia di Agrigento è una delle mete turistiche più ambite.
Ma come possiamo raggiungerla? 

Sia da Est (Agrigento, Porto Empedocle, etc.) che da Ovest (Trapani, Sciacca, etc.) è importante imboccare la Strada Provinciale n. 68 Realmonte-Porto Empedocle, da qui la cosa fondamentale è raggiungere la spiaggia di Punta Grande. I punti di accesso sono molteplici, quelli "più vicini" alla Scala dei Turchi sono i seguenti (da Est verso Ovest):

  1. Discesa Majata (si perviene in un parcheggio provato ad uso pubblico e presso lo stabilimento balneare "Majata Beach");
  2. White Bar (in adiacenza alla S.P. n. 68): si scende e, passando per lo stabilimento balneare "Lounge Beach", si perviene sull'arenile. Proseguendo per qualche centinaio di metri verso Ovest si arriva alla Scala dei Turchi;
  3. Bar/stabilimento balneare "Acanthus": si perviene sull'arenile. Proseguendo per qualche centinaio di metri verso Ovest si arriva alla Scala dei Turchi;
  4. Ristorante/pizzeria/stabilimento balneare "Lido Scala dei Turchi": si perviene sull'arenile. Proseguendo per qualche centinaio di metri verso Ovest si arriva alla Scala dei Turchi.

The Scala dei Turchi in Realmonte, in the province of Agrigento, is one of the most popular tourist destinations.
But how can we get there?

Whether you're coming from the East (Agrigento, Porto Empedocle, etc.) or from the West (Trapani, Sciacca, etc.), it's important to take the Provincial Road No. 68 Realmonte–Porto Empedocle. From there, the key is to reach the beach of Punta Grande.
There are several access points — the ones closest to the Scala dei Turchi are the following (from East to West):

  • Discesa Majata (you arrive at a private parking lot open to the public and at the beach resort "Majata Beach");

  • White Bar (adjacent to P.R. No. 68): go down and, passing through the beach resort "Lounge Beach", you reach the shoreline. Continuing a few hundred meters westward, you’ll arrive at the Scala dei Turchi;

  • Bar/beach resort "Acanthus": you reach the shoreline. Continuing a few hundred meters westward, you’ll arrive at the Scala dei Turchi;

  • Restaurant/pizzeria/beach resort "Lido Scala dei Turchi": you reach the shoreline. Continuing a few hundred meters westward, you’ll arrive at the Scala dei Turchi.
